[Eng] Alamos Torrontés 2018, 13.5%, Salta

[Appearance]
Nearly limpid with a slight lemony and greenish hue. Bright.

[Aroma]
Highly aromatic with many scents that are seemingly derived from a grape variety used. Suggesting use of a aromatic variety.
Richness of ripe apple and pear well-counterbalanced by fresh muscat of vibrant acidity. When served in a cool temperature, fresh herbs(lemongrass, apple mint, rosemary) can also be felt. Faint scents of tropical fruit(pineapple mint, rlychee) appear as the liquid warms up. Seemingly no oakiness.
Primary aromas predominate while secondary/tertiary character is very limited. Although it might be a simple wine, it has a number of enjoyable varietal expressions derived from the grape used.

[Palate]
Impressive attack with vibrant acidity. It keeps fairly high acidity. Dry. The alcoholic sensation becomes noticeable as the liquid temperature rises. Slightly high in alcohol for a white wine. Light in bodyness.
Compared to when aromas were observed, citrus fruits(lemon, lime) and once-faint tropical fruits get clearly detected. Subtle aftertaste of bitterness reminiscent of brine.

[Afterthought]
Pronounced intensity of varietal expressions, possibly enhanced by some production methods that amplify those such characteristics.
Rise of the temperature greatly change the impression the wine gives. Warming temperatures progressively reveal more fresh herbs. The nature of the herbs is relatively vivid akin to those of rosemary and lemongrass.

I would like to pair it with simple dishes such as carpaccio or a green salad.
