Appearance

It is pale yellow with a slightly greenish hue.  No signs of bubbles occuring on the surface of glass.

Aroma

It is modest in intensity evoking a rather gentle sensation.

Aromas firstly caught are oveall delicate in nature and include green apple, freshly cut herbs(especially those without assertiveness and pungency such as sweet balm and thyme). Seemingly made predominantly from a flavour-neutral variety. No signs suggest heavy use of either fermentation/maturation with oak or Malo-lactic conversion both of which complement the aromatic neutrality.

Flavour

It is a delicate wine. It has a a fair level of acidity which might be taken a bit stronger in relative to other structural components. The acid sensation enhances the freshness of the wine. It has a slightly low level of alcohol. Very dry suggesting a low amount of residual sugar. 

Low in body possibly due to the interplay of the delicate flavour, low alcohol and relatively higher acidity. Not a disadvantage of the wine.

Lean and slim with flavours of delicacy and elegance. A gentle sensation of green apple, muscat and fresh herbs appears first. Following is subtle savoryness and delicate salinity.

Recommendation

This might a good option for those who seek gentleness and delicate flavour. Especially good for those fed up with tiring wines with so-called fruit bomb or overt oakiness. No aroma/flavour components stand apart giving the impression that it is well-crafted with all under the producer’s control. The name “Transparenza” Italian for “transparency” alludes to his/her intention.

Not recommended for those looking for extravagant richness/weight of ripe fruit.

I think it pairs well with some kinds of sushi(especially those of white fleshed fish). Salt-grilled Ayu seasonsed with Sudachi lime is another possible partner for marriage. Pairing with heavily flavoured dishes most likely make it hard to appreciate the gentleness and delicacy of the wine..

Considering the gentle flavour, this wine might not be positively evaluated by especially those looking for distinctive characters of a variety used or a typicity unique to a production region. Seemingly good for occasions where solace is needed to help one come out of depression.
