Ca’marcanda Vistamare 2016 Gaja

【外観】
色調は中程度からやや薄いレモン色。粘度はやや高いように見受けられる。
透明性は高い。


【香り】
香りの強さとしては中程度。アロマティックな品種から作られたものの様に強烈にムンムンと香りが立つタイプのスタイルではないように思われる。
第一アロマの性格としては有核果実の要素が相対的に強く白桃、ネクタリン、アプリコットが感じ取れ、副次的には白い花の要素もいくつか感じられる。それ以外に菜種油やバターのような第二アロマと思われる香りも捉えられる。
グラスを回した後はミネラルの要素が強くなり、石英質の石を割った時のような香りが取れる。同時にフレッシュハーブ(メンソール、レモングラス、ローズ等)も感じられる。少し時間が経つとこれらに加えて若干のナッツの様な香ばしいニュアンスも現れる。


【味わい】
かなり辛口。酸の性質としては穏やかだが量は多い印象。果実味よりもミネラル感の存在感が強くニガリ、石、塩昆布といった要素が遺憾なく発揮されている。飲み終わりには適度な苦さが長く続く。度数は高い。

●ブドウのの生育環境:
 海に近い畑で育ったブドウから作られる様です。そのため穏やかな潮風に晒される場所でブドウは育つとのことです。


[Appearance]
The wine is lemon and exhibits high transparency. Its color intensity ranges between medium and slightly below medium. It apparently has a relatively high viscosity.

[Aromas]
The wine has a medium aroma intensity. The wine is moderately scented, leading it seems not a type of wine which boasts intense primary aromas that usually derive from aromatic varieties.
As for primary aromatic characters, stone fruits(peach, nectar, apricot) are relatively easily felt and these are supplemented by white flowers(honeysuckle). There are also subtle rapeseed oil and butter which seem to have risen from secondary aroma components made during fermentation.
After swirling the glass, scents that are usually linked to minerality such as stone, flint and a whiff of a freshly smashed granite become evident. A moderate presence of fresh herbs(menthol, lemon grass, rose) enhences freshness found on this wine. After further time has passed, a hint of nut appears.

[Palate]
This wine is dry, and furthermore, of a type which can be called bone dry. It has high acidity whose nature is mild rather than sharp. Pronounced minerality such as flint, bittern
and saltled dried kelp are evidently perceived to override to a certain extent its modest fruit. It leaves a long comfortable aftertaste of subtle bitterness. It seems to have high abv.

Vineyards for this wine is probably located closed to the sea, leaving the berries used exposed to sea breeze.
