Felline Primitivo di Manduria 2015

【外観】

色調はやや濃いルビー。全体的に微かに赤みがかっている。

【香り】

果実味豊かなスタイルのワイン。赤系果実（さくらんぼ、いちご、イチゴ味の飴）やダークチェリー、プルーンといった適度に熟した果実の要素がいくつもとれる。リコリスやヴァニラのような甘味と煎りたてのアーモンドのような香ばしさがあり、複雑さも兼ね備えている。ハーブや草っぽいニュアンスはほぼ無い。スワリングした後も明確な香りの変化は生じないように思える。

【味わい】

オフドライ、度数も高い。ところがこれらの要素と比較しても酸が足りない印象はなく、骨格はオフドライのワインにしては引き締まっている。タンニンは柔らかく量的には中程度。

[Appearance]

The wine is deep ruby. Whole the liquid in the glass is, regardless at the rim or the center of glass, slightly reddish.

[Aroma]

This is a wine of abandant rich fruit. The wine has fruity aromas of ripe red fruits(red cherry, strawberry, strawberry drop), black fruits(dark cherry, prune), sweet spice(liquorice, vanilla), to which a subtle hint of freshly baked almond adds enhancing its complexity as a whole. After swirling the glass, little changes in the nature of these aromatic characters are confirmed.

[Palate]

The wine is off-dry and has relatively high abv. However, unexpectedly it does have balancing acidity  making the wine well-balanced and structured for the sweetness level. There is, in terms of quantity, rich soft tannin.
